Mental Resilience at Work

With today’s ever increasing challenges we face on our time and ever changing environments both at work and home, we can learn how to be better able to control our responses to events that happen to us and still focus on what we wish to achieve. Some people call this ‘mental toughness’ others ‘discipline’ or ‘focus’. Whatever the label, we can learn the mental skills to cope more effectively.

Who should attend?

Anyone who recognises that they are reacting in a stressful way to events in their life, whether professionally or personally.

To be more resistant to pressure at work. To cope with change and our reaction to it.

Course Overview

This workshop can be made as theoretical or practical as required by the group and flexible in terms of needs. In order to enable learning outcomes to be achieved in a unique and fun way it will include discussion, debates and a critical exploration of:

Course Facilitator

Andy McCannAndy McCann is in wide demand as a trainer and coach with clients including businesses and individuals from the private and public sectors, the health industry and charities. 

He is an internationally published author and writer, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, and a member of the several organisations including the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA) and DNA Wales, a network of critical management researchers who collaborate with key economy enhancing bodies (e.g. industry associations, private enterprise, higher education and government).
